Ex- Physician Faces Sexual Assault Allegations Against Thirty-Eight Individuals in His Care

Legal authorities have announced that a ex- physician now faces charges for performing sexual assaults involving thirty-eight individuals who were patients.

Details of the Grave Allegations

The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of numerous sexual offences – comprising acts against minors under the age of thirteen – between 2017 and 2021.

A senior prosecutor commented, “Our prosecutors have diligently worked to assist a thorough and intricate police inquiry, carefully reviewing the evidence to determine that there is a strong case to bring the case to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”

The Investigation

The charges follow what police called a “detailed inquiry” into reported sexual offences at two hospitals: the Royal Stoke university hospital and Russells Hall hospital.

Spencer is scheduled to appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th.

  • Fifteen counts of sexual assault.
