I will stamp all over 'legitimate combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.

Ex twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers met for the customary face-off, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
