Vince Zampella, who helped create the immensely successful first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a car accident in California aged 55.
Zampella's death was verified by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio he co-founded.
The celebrated industry figure passed away following his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a motorway in LA on Sunday, as reported by.
